- Headache.

Good stuff yesterday, but headache now, so ... guess I'll be later.

- Woke up late (naturally).
+ Finished Crazy Cock.
+ First Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End & Prince Caspian-ish
+ Cleaned room a little.
- mum was feeling bad, so she came home early and
+ we went out on a mission. Hope everything's okay.
+ Played with makeup before she came.

I think it's funny that I started being interested in makeup after the age of 20.
Shouldn't it have happened sooner?

+ The Walking Dead.
+ Testing nail polish shades.

Seeing as that this day was full of positives, I think tomorrow will be just as good.
Re: Saturday, November 20, 2010

+/- Rainy & cloudy; if only it weren't so windy.
~ Late-ish, but that was because of the previous night.
~ Little naps snuck about the day.
- Womanly pains... ):
+ Science: Rainbow Jello Shots
Results: Success!
New Discovery: RJS + champagne
+ First Flasking.
+ The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. There. I did it. Another Mel Brooks marathon is coming, apparently.

Questions/Wonders:
I wonder what it takes to turn on a guy. I mean, I most definitely know, but what's say "the minimum"? I'm sure it varies.

Re: Friday, November 19, 2010

- Started the day late.
+ Purchased first: concealer & bronzer. It's about time I learn about them.
+ Bought ingredients for birthday cookies.
-- Got in a yell-fest with mum for stupid reasons (that could be elaborated on later).
~ Sulked a little.
+ Called parents for free-times & scheduling.
+ Suddenly realized cookies had to be made.
And luckily for me, they came out good on the first try.

+ Gave cookies to Mike (because it is his birthday).
+ Mike, Trey, and I got Thai food; once again, another getting-along-with-them-better-day.
~ Had to drop off Trey.
+ 2 hours in WalMart, 8 Silly straws and a Cinderella wand later:
+ Russell Brand is on Larry King.
I have never seen so much of this man anywhere on anything in my life. I feel spoiled.
A majority of this bloomed(?) when I was in Paris.

Anyway.
Obviously a great night.

Now you're telling me
You're not nostalgic
Then give me another word for it
You who are so good with words
And at keeping things vague
- from Diamonds & Rust. A Joan Baez song we tried out.
It was like nonsensical rambling, and were the only words that stuck out at me aside from the line about someone's eyes being bluer than robins' eggs.

I'm so full (of food)
I'm so full (of ideas)

but I'm tired. It's 1:22.

"Morning Survey"

Yes, I realize it's 23:18. It's morning somewhere on Earth.

Mood:
Exhausted.

What month is your birthday?
October.

Current outfit?
Cat In the Hat boxers, a sports bra, and a green button-down sweater.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or be invisible?
I believe 'invisible' would be more acceptable in today's society. But if everyone else were 'okay' with seeing a human flying without a rocket-pack, I would choose the latter.

Current nail polish?
Clear. Does that even count?

Do you have any pets?
Yes, a lonely cockatiel. He doesn't have a name.

What is your favorite board game?
I don't really have one. Carrcasonne is entertaining.

Do you have any allergies?
Yes, but nothing out of the ordinary: cats & grass.

What holiday makeup collection (if any) are you most excited about this year?
I don't care for holiday collections of any sort. I do, however, get excited about makeup collections, or makeup in general. I'm excited for the TokiDoki collection appearing in Sephora, and hoping M.A.C. does more for that "evil female Disney character"-look. They forgot Ursula. (Yes, I know there's a name for that line, but I'm too lazy to push Ctrl+T to Google it. Had I not typed this, I probably would have found my answer by now.)

Weekly goals:
Bake good cookies for Mike's birthday, clean my room, call some parents to schedule tutoring hours, mail some things, and to stop hating Canada for not delivering a present that was ordered for a friend (who's birthday was over a month ago).

+ Concert
+ Held a Kindle
+ Played chess, though it was crazy-pressure just because it was with Trey. -_-
+ Makeup success. I think I'll wear red lipstick more often.
+ Went to Sephora... now I'm itchin' for some goodies to play with. Crap.
+ Got another student.
++ Realize that with how much I earn with tutoring, I'll be okay with loans for at least 1 year.

I'm a little tired... I watched Conan.

Sunday, November 14, 2010

I have a foot fetish, and constantly worry about how ugly my feet are. They are flat and I have a slight bunion probably because I wore 3-inch heel-platform shoes through most of junior or senior year of high school.
I'm also concerned about lower back pain when I'm older, but mostly I just wish I had an arch.
It would make me feel better about myself, and this might sound absurd, but quite possibly: more feminine. I would possess extra curves!

I've talked about d'orsay pumps here before (one of my favorite, favorite things). I can't wear them (rather, I shouldn't wear them) because they aren't flattering on flat feet.

Cooking Weekend

+ Stuck my nose in Crazy Cock. Enjoying it a little better now.
+ Made apple cheesecake... chimichangas (? I'm not actually sure of the correct term).
Result: Meh. I believe the "cheesecake" part of the recipe needs to be fixed.
+ Watched some TV about life & aliens; now an episode of I Survived,
- which I miss watching with Hannah.

I dislike living with my parents.
Since the trip to Paris, it doesn't seem as horrible/hopeless as it used to be (this is a good thing).
Anyway, I noticed that I constantly wonder why/how my parents got married. They don't beat each other up, or fight terribly 24-7, but something feels off every now and then. It's just difficult to comprehend that these two decided they were compatible.

Maybe that's just "normal". Whatever that is.

If I ever get married, I hope by the time I'm 50 I will still be getting along with my husband without (what seems like High School Musical) bickering.

+ Remembered carousels & maki... French kissing for the first time.
- Forgot to watch an episode of 30 Rock.

Saturday, November 13, 2010

- I spent 50% of the day feeling guilty for staying out late and forgetting Pacquiao was going to fight Margarito.
+ 30% creating cinnamon tortilla crunchies.
+ 5% watching a scary French movie with dad.
+ 15% screaming for Manny Pacquiao.
(I can do math, right?)

I was honestly scared for Manny this fight (moreso than for his previous fight with Clottey) because he was smaller than Margarito. But Pacquiao proved his talent once again. That man really is a beast. He basically punched Margarito's face like Kirby dancing on opponents' heads in Super Smash Bros... like Chun Li's Lightning Kick, but with fists.
I'm glad Manny won, but I also hope Margarito will be okay. The last 3 rounds were brutal.

+ Chit-chats...
- I haven't exercised in a Week. Uh oh...
+ Dita von Teese and weird feet too, so I should stop worrying about mine.
Maybe I'll be almost okay with it finally.
+ Read some works by Lewis Carroll.
+ I really liked Chapter 4 of Crazy Cock

I feel like I'm forgetting something...

Sometime between Today and Yesterday

- Lazy, irresponsible; delayed tests & rushed mailings.
+ Chit-chats & dance-crap.
- Cup-o-noodle Fail.
+ Motivation to make taquitos.
- Wrong tortilla-type
+ Discovered chalupa-like puffs.
- Mum rambles & skips through subjects.
I get very annoyed when the chatter is happy, and then she suddenly turns and mumbles about how the house is in "shambles". Yes, I apparently live in a shit-hole. (No, I don't. I don't live in a huge, immaculate house, but we're not living in "shambles".)
Yes, we're Asian, there will always be shoes near the door no matter how much you try not to keep them there.
Maybe the pantry wouldn't be so full if you actually checked what was in it, or made a grocery list (not some half-assed one you decided to piece together before leaving) whenever you went shopping so you didn't accidentally purchase more of the same thing (causing it to go past its expiration date).
Maybe we shouldn't buy so much food; we don't eat it ALL anyway.

+ First bite of McRib.
+/- Double Cheeseburger... at night.
+ Blueberry daquiri & crazy straws; quest complete.
+ First snifting.
+ Blue moon & Orange.
+ The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
"It's a Japanese slingshot!", "What?"
Dolly Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" in 1973
+ 70% of Inglorious Basterds.
+ VW seat-warmers.
- I'm still not good at movies/pop culture.
To be honest, I don't really give a damn.
- I'm a little annoyed I stayed out this late because now I'll be too tired to wake up early & exercise.
But I had fun. Oh well.

Today's adventure

+ Driving.
+ Setting FM-2 to my stations w/o bothering Dad's settings.
++ Lola Alice is doing fine.
+ Minecraft, now on Easy:
+ Killed several Spiders, Zombies, and a Skeleton.
+ Short chit-chats make me feel special.
~ Some boys are confusing.

- Kind of disappointed with Crazy Cock, but I continue.
+ Finished The Alchemist (2 days ago???); Great!

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Re: Saturday, November 6, 2010

+ New Zealand Natural ice cream & frozen yogurt
+ Forever21—crap! I need a job.
+ Statues.
+ Borders
+ Due Date? Cute.
+ T.G.I.F. — what? I ate all my food??
… Maybe I’ll recall/edit later. It’s kinda late.

Friday, November 5, 2010

R: Hurt doesn't hurt as much as it used to; time does heal everything.
+ Someday, I would like to be able to say:
So then I was like, "Fuck y'all. I'm gonna bring some weird into this town."
And this city hasn't been the same ever since.

Thursday, November 4, 2010

+ Finished Dracula.
+ 4/5 students assessed.
+ The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho
+ Crazy Cock, by Henry Miller
+ Expressions of want.
+ Smelling like Paris
+ Additional, small writing projects.
>* The Weekend.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

I have decided I will write about whatever I think up. No more of this, "I don't think that's very important"-business.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Apparently I miss Paris; I dreamt we were getting off the Metro in Montmarte.

Oddly enough Tom Hanks was mixed in the dream, though not in the Paris-part, and I'm not the one with The DaVinci Code obsession.
+ Getting on with Trey better; car ride = success
+ Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. V cute; I should try firetruck red lipstick more often for boldness.
~ Not sure what to do with these odds & ends I have...
++ Recently re-hired as a tutor again.

Re: Halloween
+1,000pts. on make-up application skills
+ Hair actually turned pink
+ bunny mask for future Halloweens [*Must take care of it.]
+ Cat has learned to love me
+ Girl chit-chats
But we forgot the cupcakes...
+ Birthday presents exchanged

I had 2 Dreams on Sunday.
D1: Having to do with chasing around Mitch Hedberg around a college campus; one that we were attending for some reason (a phrase familiar to when dreams are being re-told). Chasing him around because we were kind of buddy-buddy, but not ready to admit we had a crush on each other. We kissed at the end of the dream. It was sweet, with good intention, but it was unfortunately revolting because he suddenly developed zits around his mouth, or it was a suggestion of herpes.
I woke up and thought:
I kissed the wrong comedian, and I disliked it.
D2: I continued on to have a dream about Russell Brand, some adventure-dream that I'm sad to say I can't quite remember. Fun time. No kissing. Much laughing.
I don't usually have kissing dreams or dreams about celebrities, thus I am making note of these.

I had 1 Dream on Saturday.
Sam and I were either dry humping or fucking during after hours in a band room that was attached to a luxurious college library. It was dark, but we stopped because I thought I saw a shadow approach the room.
Hm.

>* I should get my flute fixed.
~ Not sure what to do with these odds & ends I have...
